The goal of this project was to create a poster for a Cape-Wide art exhibition that displays art from grades kindergarten through twelfth grade. In this project I learned how to add a color background behind your type to make your type stand out. I also learned how to make your file size smaller, and how to save a s a jpg. And I also learned that the words on the poster can be more important than your design. In my original designs, I focused on making the background as interesting as possible: Unfortunately, you couldn't read the type. Here are some before and after images of my Through Young Eyes posters to show what a difference was made. How many differences can you spot?
