Lyrics Poster

In this project, students had to come up with a certain set of lyrics that you could place pictures to. I chose the lyrics "It's gonna be a bright, bright, bright, bright sunshiny day," from the song I Can See Clearly Now by Jimmy Cliff. In making this poster, I learned how to add a layer mask. A layer mask is used to remove rough edges in an image. It can be used to blend two or more pictures together and can give your job a more professional look. I also learned that "black reveals and white conceals." So when you are trying to fad away some of the image you would use black and vise versa with white. I used the images of beaches, sunflowers, palm trees, clouds and boats to relate to this quote. The two images of the beaches almost look like the same beach when they were blended together.
